Life in later adulthood can bring many opportunities, but it can also involve significant challenges, including bereavement, retirement, health concerns, caring responsibilities, changes in identity, loneliness, anxiety, and low mood.

Our individual therapy sessions provide a safe, supportive, and confidential space to explore these experiences and develop practical strategies for improving emotional wellbeing and quality of life.

Therapy is tailored to the individual and may draw upon a range of evidence-informed psychological approaches, including mindfulness-based approaches, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), and Positive Psychology.

Our aim is not simply to reduce distress but to help people develop greater psychological flexibility, resilience, self-understanding, and emotional wellbeing.
Cost
Sessions are delivered by Clinical Psychologists in Training under the supervision of experienced Clinical Psychologists and are offered at a subsidised rate of £50 per session, significantly lower than typical private clinical psychology fees.
